There’s A Tiny Town In Texas Completely Surrounded By Breathtaking Natural Beauty

In Texas, we enjoy the full spectrum of possible landscapes, from towering mountains to wide open pastures. Unfortunately, many of the most beautiful spots in our state are far away from civilization and require a long road trip to access. One little city, however, is quite the opposite: Alpine, a tiny West Texas town of less than 6,000 residents. Living here is like waking up in paradise every single morning with a backdrop of the majestic Big Bend mountains on the horizon, and if you haven’t visited yet, you’re truly missing out.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Have you ever been to Alpine? Was it as beautiful as pictures make it out to be?
