10 Things You’ve Grown To Undeniably Hate If You’re From Texas
Most of us have so much love and respect for our state, from the breathtaking scenery to the delicious foods to the generous, kind-hearted people. However, if you’ve lived in Texas for a good portion of your life, you have probably grown to despise the following things about living here.

We get it y'all, Texas is really great, but you can always just come to visit, and then, you know, go back where you came from.

And, because of the influx of people moving here, we get to sit in traffic for hours on end while we try to get to work on time. Not fun.

We tolerate them, and even enjoy them for the first few weeks, but then we start praying for winter to get here already.

And then, we start praying for summer when winter gets here. Because winter sounds like a good idea in theory, but we've learned the hard way that we would much rather opt out of it.

Remind me why these things exist again?

Even if you slather on the sunscreen every hour, you will inevitably get sunburned at least once during the summer. And Texas sunburns are not like other sunburns, trust me.

Despite the threat of large fines, I still see trash thrown all over the place when I'm out and about. It's really not that hard to go throw your trash in an actual trash can, y'all.

No matter how many times we've experienced it firsthand, we will never get used to it. Rain = good. Too much rain in a short period of time = you've gotta be kidding me.

Just like with flooding, you get used to the hurricanes. But still, it's not like we're inviting them in with open arms or anything.

It seems more and more people move here, yet complain about living here. Well, if you don't like it here, then please do us a favor and leave more space for the people who actually love our state. Thank you!
