10 Things Everyone In Texas Should Avoid At All Costs
While Texas is undeniably beautiful and a great place to settle down, there are some things that are best avoided if you want to maintain a good quality of life (and your sanity). Here are 10 things that everyone should steer clear of in Texas.

Remember: turn around, DON'T drown.

By not putting on sunscreen, you'll probably end up like this woman, and sleeping/taking showers/moving at all will not be fun for you.

We all know the dread of crawling along a freeway during rush hour, and it is not a fun way to spend your evening.

We all know that the weather can change in a heartbeat, and you don't want to be stuck in a Texas rainstorm with no umbrella. Trust me.

If you do try this, there WILL be mosquitoes galore, and you WILL be running from them the entire time. I know from experience now to wait at least a few days to a week after a rainstorm for hiking in the woods, especially in East Texas.

Okay, maybe we can't avoid these entirely, but if you can evacuate, you probably should just to play it safe.

Bringing up politics in Texas is like initiating World War III, so be prepared if discussing politics is your thing.

Driving in the rain is hard enough, but attempting to drive in the snow? Nah, I'll just stay under my covers, thanks.

Unless your life goal is to turn into a puddle, of course.

If you do express your dislike toward our state, you will not be met with kind words. Just sayin.
