The Bed And Breakfast With Themed Rooms That Take You On A Journey Through Texas History
Texas is full of charming
bed & breakfasts, but this just might be the best one yet. Full Moon Inn in Fredericksburg, with rooms dedicated to the oil boom, Prohibition, Texas Wine Country, and more integral aspects of our state’s history, is like stepping back in time and watching the Lone Star State develop into the home we know and love today. See for yourself:
Tucked away in the quaint and quiet town of Fredericksburg, Full Moon Inn Bed and Breakfast is the perfect getaway for lovers, friends, and families alike.
There are seven rooms sleeping between two and four people each. They boast amenities such as full kitchens, high speed Wi-Fi, televisions, high thread count cotton bedding, A/C and ceiling fans, and more, so rest assured you'll find the perfect fit for your needs.
There's also a large common area with comfortable seating and a large TV where you can relax and mingle with other guests. This is where breakfast is served - either French toast, German sausage, and eggs, or sweet potato pancakes, thick-cut bacon, eggs, and fruit. Yum!
Texas Prohibition is quaint and comfortable, with a full-sized bed and private bath. It's pet friendly, and rates are $125-$150 per night.
Texas Wildlife is a large room that sleeps up to four people. It has a king-sized bed, private bath, and a separate twin daybed. The bathroom is extremely spacious as well and has both a tub and shower. It's also a pet friendly room, and the rate is $185-$200 per night for two people; $35 for each additional person.
Texas Oil Boom is a cozy room designed to look like an 1850s smokehouse. It has a king-sized bed, private bath, and sleeps up to three people. The rate is $185-$200 per night for two people; $35 for an additional person.
Arguably the neatest room in the B&B, Texas Cowboys & Indians is a two-story suite with a king bed downstairs and queen upstairs, and one bathroom with an antique clawfoot tub. The room can be booked for just two people as well for a rate of $225-$250 per night. For four people, the rate is $275-$290 per hour. This is the cowboy room...
...and this is the Indian room:
Since Texas is known for having some of the best wine in the country, it only makes sense to have a room dedicated to it. Texas Wine boasts a full kitchen and dining area as well as a king-sized bed and private bath. Rates are $200-$225 per night; $35 for each additional person (up to four people total).
If you're looking for the perfect room for you and your sweetie, look no further than Texas Romance. The jacuzzi, warm fireplace, and porch overlooking the property create an ideal setting for an intimate weekend. Rates are $185-$200 per night.
Last but certainly not least, Texas Music pays homage to the country legends that have shaped our state into what it is today. It also has a jacuzzi, fireplace, and porch, and rates are the same as Texas Romance.
*The first price listed for all the rooms is the weekday rate, while the second number is the weekend rate. Weekends require a two night minimum.
