This Epic Texas-Shaped Lazy River Is Finally Open To The Public
Everything is bigger in Texas – especially summertime. From digging our toes in the sand on the world’s longest barrier island to splashing the day away at some of the country’s best swimming holes, we definitely know how to live it up this time of year.
With the season starting to wind down, it’s time to pack in as many last-minute activities as possible during the coming weeks. Lucky for us, an epic Texas-shaped lazy river at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Houston just opened to the public – that’s right, you don’t even have to be an overnight guest to float! There’ll be music, food, drinks, and plain old fun in the sun every weekday from now ’till the end of summer. You can’t miss this!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
The hotel is located at 1777 Walker St, Houston, TX 77010. Click here for more information about Weekdays Elevated and to purchase tickets.
Are you excited about this epic lazy river?! We sure are!
