Walk Through 1.5 Acres Of Sunflowers At The Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Sunflower Festival, The Most Beautiful Festival In Texas
Sunflowers are the embodiment of happiness – it’s impossible to look at their bright yellow petals and not crack a smile. You’ll be grinning from ear to ear all day at the Sunflower Festival at Sweet Eats Fruit Farm in Georgetown, where 1.5 acres of sunflowers are in full bloom. Towering at heights of up to eight feet, the multicolored blossoms are the perfect way to bid summer adieu and welcome fall.
Located in Georgetown, Sweet Eats Fruit Farm is the premier Central Texas destination for outdoor family fun.
The festival is such a hit, in fact, that the farm brings it back in September for an epic summer send-off.
You'll get to frolic through a 1.5-acre field with 20 different varieties of sunflowers, each one a radiant beam of light that promises to fill you with joy.
Smiling down on you from above, the bright yellow blossoms are almost maze-like in nature. The only difference is that you wouldn't mind getting lost in this maze!
Unlike during the midsummer festival, there will be no designated "no pick zones" in the field.
This means nothing is off-limits, so grab a bucket and start building your own personal bouquet.
One of the most fascinating things about the Sweet Eats sunflower field is that it boasts four different colors of blooms: black, purple, green, and yellow.
With all that variety at your fingertips, everyone gets to be a professional florist!
The highly anticipated Fall Festival also begins on the 18th, boasting 40 different types of pumpkins, a 4.5-acre corn maze, and over 30 other activities for all ages.
The farm is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily (weather permitting) until October, when hours will be extended. Ticket prices vary (besides annual passes, which are always $59 per person), so visit the Sweet Eats website or Facebook page for details.
