The days are longer, the sun is shining, and temperatures are steadily on the rise. Here in Texas, that means one thing: fresh, homegrown fruits and vegetables! Nothing tastes better than seasonal produce, and there are plenty of places throughout the state where you can pick it yourself. Froberg’s Farm in Alvin has strawberry fields far as the eye can see, and it’s open all spring long for visitors to see firsthand where their food comes from.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. You’ll find the farm at 3601 West Hwy. 6, Alvin, Texas 77511. For more information, head over to their website or Facebook page. There’s also a smokehouse on the property if you get hungry after a full day of berry picking!
