Human presence in the area dates back 12,000 years, and hundreds of archaeological landmarks have been found in the park. One of the largest flooded cypress forests in the country, Caddo Lake is a true gem. Canoe through the swampy landscape and marvel at the Spanish moss draped over the trees, and cast a line out to 70+ species of fish.
