The South Pole Illuminated Drive In Texas Is Positively Enchanting
Drive-through Christmas light shows are all the rage right now, and the South Pole Illuminated Drive in McAllen is among Texas’ very best. With a 280-foot-long lighted tunnel, more than 50 Christmas trees, a drive-in holiday movie theatre, and so much more festive fun, this place is positively enchanting.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. It's a full mile of immersive holiday fun, featuring millions of lights, real snow, and so much more, with festivities lasting thru January 3.

With a frenzy of multicolored lights dancing for all to see, your senses will be overwhelmed in the best possible way.

You'll also see more than 50 Christmas trees, each one decorated in its own festively unique style.

It's a Christmas wonderland if we've ever seen one!


General admission tickets are $10 per vehicle Monday-Thursday, and $15 Friday-Sunday, while VIP tickets cost $35 and $40, respectively. Hours are 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 5:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. Friday-Saturday.

You'll turn onto 29th Street from there, make a right on Ithaca Avenue, and finally enter the drive. The VIP lane starts on Ithaca Avenue.
