Since 1967, this incredibly sanctuary has been one of the most unique zoological attractions in Texas. Located on I-35 in New Braunfels, it welcomes visitors from all over the country who stop along their travels.
Mambas and pythons are just two of many snakes that reside here. Other scaly friends like alligators, crocodiles, and lizards also call Snake Farm home.
Reptiles aren't the only animals you'll see. In 2007, Snake Farm added "Animal World" to its name and brought in more than 500 different species from all over the world, including pigs, lions camels, and so many others.
Animal encounters allow you to get up-close-and-personal with some of the zoo's most exotic creatures. Pet, hold, and take photos with animals like pythons and baby alligators.
You'll find Snake Farm & Animal World at 5640 IH 35 S, New Braunfels, TX 78132. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Memorial Day and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from that point forward.
