This 1,000 Foot Traveling Slip N’ Slide Is Coming To Texas… And It’s Awesome

Ever wanted to slide through your city on a 1,000 foot slip n’ slide? Well, here’s your chance! Slide the City, a Utah-based company, will be touring the country this summer with their gigantic traveling slip n’ slide, bringing more fun in the sun to your city than you could ever imagine.

Not only does it span the length of three football fields, but it’s a two-way slip n’ slide, so that means double the sliding, splashing, and getting soaked! You know how hot Texas gets during the summer, so what better way to cool off than spending the day sliding around on the biggest slip n’ slide you’ve ever seen?!

According to Slide the City’s website, the slide is coming to thirteen different Texas cities this summer – El Paso, College Station, McAllen, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Brownsville, Waco, Lubbock, Laredo, and Corpus Christi – so there’s plenty of chances to slide your city! Registration prices vary widely depending on how early you register, how many times you want to slide, and the city you’re sliding in. Check out their website for exact dates, locations, and to register for this epic attraction!

If you’re worried about the water usage, Slide the City already has that covered. They’re committed to using as little water as possible, so the 12,000-20,000 gallons of water that are typically used are treated at the end of the event and then recycled back to the community. The slide recirculates water throughout the day to help conserve water as well.

The events will also have live music, food, and drinks, so it promises to be a badass time for everybody!

So, who’s ready to meet me at the slide this summer?!
