The Scariest Hotel In America Will Soon Be Found Right Here In Texas
Are you ready for the most terrifyingly awesome experience of your life? You’re about to be able to step into the world of one of the most gruesome and horrifying scary movies ever created – The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Businessman Roy Rose is a huge fan of the film and decided to bring the long abandoned set to life by converting the gas station from the movie into a site with cabins, a restaurant, a museum, gift shop, and more. It’s set to open later this year in Bastrop if all goes as planned. Are you brave enough?

You can stay in one of four overnight cabins and even eat in the restaurant (if you dare - remember, in the movie, the family serves human meat in their cafe).

This is the inside of one of the cabins. They couldn't have chosen a better color for the walls. Good luck sleeping without imagining dark crimson blood dripping down all around you...

The hotel will also feature a museum with real artifacts from the film, an outdoor stage for music (pictured above), a smoker house, and a gift shop where you can take home your own little piece of the movie.

The smoker house is being built with as much of the original wood as possible. Builders have also added replica gas pumps and a Coca Cola machine manufactured in the same year as the one in the movie. The film will be playing on a loop to add to the already creepy vibe.

It is hoped that the attraction will bring people from all over to Bastrop and liven up the little town.
So…who’s up for a night or two here? I promise you’ll make it out alive…maybe.
