It’s no secret that we Texans love spending time on the water, and VIP Marina is the perfect place to do just that. Rent a double-decker party barge, complete with furniture, coolers, a grill, your own personal water slide, and so much more.
Located on the beautiful Lake Travis, VIP Marina offers a variety of boats for rent. Whether you're looking to fish, jet ski, tube, or just cruise around and enjoy the pristine waters, there's something for any occasion.
Standard amenities for the party barges include two coolers, 20 chairs and two tables, lifejackets, foam noodles, a propane grill, Bluetooth speaker, and fully-functional bathroom. If you supply food, the crew will even cook for your group!
From the Jamaican-themed "Island Time" to the patriotic "Stars & Stripes," each of the four boats has its own unique theme. Feel free to bring a DJ onboard, but no microphones are allowed and you must supply a generator. Order a keg of domestic or import beer for $160 ($180 for IPA or cider) from management at least two weeks in advance.
What fun would a lake day be without taking a dip? Luckily, all of the barges feature their own water slide, so you can make a splash over and over again!
The marina has a store that sells basic necessities like snacks, drinks, swimsuits, sunglasses, and flip-flops. You'll see plenty of local, Texas-made products, and staff members will even provide transportation from the parking lot to the docks.
Make sure you stick around until the evening hours to catch an iconic Texas sunset. As daylight slowly fades, the sky erupts in a breathtaking display of pastel hues sure to leave you gazing in awe. Our state is so gorgeous!
Currently, no more than 10 people can be on a boat at any given time, and all rentals must be for at least four hours. Visit the marina’s website or Facebook page to learn more.
