Open since 1968, Boot's Burger is a Rockwall gem that only locals seem to know about - but it's time for a change.
This hole-in-the-wall icon serves legendary burgers from the most unassuming place possible: a walk-up window in a converted garage behind the owner's home.
The cash-only joint doesn't have to rely on a fancy atmosphere to bring in customers. An intoxicating aroma of perfectly seasoned, cast-iron grilled meat does all the talking.
Boot's churns out more than 200 burgers each day. That number is impressive any way you slice it, but even more so considering the restaurant is only open for lunch!
Looking at the menu, you'll notice there's hardly anything on it.
You can also add jalapeno relish - either on the side or directly on your burger - and we highly recommend going this route. The spiciness plays so well with all the other flavors!
Adding to the deliciousness are buns toasted to perfection and friendly, fast service.
