One Of The World’s Largest Indoor Waterparks Will Open In Texas This November
Most people don’t even consider a waterpark for winter vacation, but what if it was located indoors? Kalahari, one of the world’s largest indoor water parks, is opening a Round Rock location this November. Complete with 30 slides, several pools, and special attractions for kids and adults alike, this African-themed resort is guaranteed fun for the whole family.
With some of the largest indoor waterparks in not only just America but the entire world, Kalahari Resorts is opening a Round Rock location this November. The 350-acre property will feature more than 200,000 square feet of water attractions, plus five restaurants, nearly 1,000 guest rooms, a convention center, and retail space.
Water parks probably aren't your first choice for a winter vacation, but it's a tropical paradise year-round at Kalahari. 30 waterslides, pools with real sandy beaches, and a plethora of additional attractions keep the fun going all day long.
Kalahari is truly set apart from other Texas waterparks because of its African theme. In addition to the attractions themselves designed like safari animals, you'll also see 22 life-size sculptures that each weigh up to 10,000 pounds and stand some 10 feet tall.
All ages are welcome, as the attractions range from zero-depth activity pools to thrilling speed slides. So, whether you like to live life on the edge or take it easy, rest assured there's something for everyone.
Not all of the attractions are indoors, so you still get to soak up some rays. Few things compare to splashing the day away underneath the brutal Texas sun.
