The holiday season will soon draw to a close (I know, it seems like it just started!), so now is the time to cram in all those last minute festivities. One thing you absolutely have to add to your list — before you check it twice, of course — is this gingerbread house restaurant in Austin. It’s located in the Westin Downtown Hotel, and it’s the perfect way to end the season with those nearest and dearest to your heart. See it for yourself:
The life-sized gingerbread house is located in the hotel lobby and is an extension of the on-site restaurant, Stella San Jac. It seats seven people and can be rented for lunch or dinner.
And in the spirit of the season, 10 percent of all revenue will be donated to Back on My Feet Austin, a local organization that provides services to the homeless.
The gingerbread and candy adorning the walls, ceiling, floor, and table are REAL! Authenticity helps add to the theme and make you feel like you're truly in a winter wonderland.
