Over 30 Food Trucks Gather In One Place At Great State Of Texas Food Truck Festival
Food festivals are exciting, but they can get a tad monotonous when only one type of cuisine is served. The Great State of Texas Food Truck Festival is changing that narrative by rounding up more than 30 businesses serving all different types of fare.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
On November 16, some of Houston's top-rated food trucks will gather to showcase the city's astounding culinary diversity. Local artists will perform live entertainment in the background as hungry guests peruse more than 30 choices.
Believe it or not, there are fries underneath all those toppings - The Cuban Spot definitely doesn't play around when it comes to portion sizes. Get yours traditional style: loaded with pickles, Swiss cheese, ham, roasted pork, habanero aioli, and mustard, or opt instead for chorizo, beef, or steak.
Ethnic options such as Caribbean hot pot, sushi burritos, and Halal cuisine remind visitors just how much of a melting pot Houston is. Your taste buds will embark on a worldwide excursion without ever leaving the city!
Don't worry, breakfast and dessert haven't been forgotten about. Waffles in every form imaginable, cupcakes, milkshakes, and so many more indulgences guarantee nobody leaves without a full belly and satisfied sweet tooth.
General admission is free before 2 p.m. so long as you purchase a ticket before October 1. After that, or if you plan on entering the festival at a later hour, the cost is $10 a person.
