You May Not Like These Predictions About Texas’ Wild Upcoming Winter

We might be baking under the sweltering Texas summer sun right now, but winter will be here before we know it. Are you ready for the wild winter that the Farmer’s Almanac is predicting? I’m not sure if I’m more excited or nervous about trading in 109 degree heat indexes for cold, snowy mornings and warm afternoons.

Get ready for a wild winter, y'all! The Farmer's Almanac just released its predictions for the 2017-18 season, and it looks like we're in for some chaotic weather.

As far as temperature, expect to see both extremes - sometimes within the same day! (But is that really anything new for us?)

...and the next morning, it could look like this as the temperature dips and snow falls onto the ground.

And in terms of precipitation, we'll go through tranquil periods of sunshine...

...and tempestuous periods of heavy rainfall, gloom, and darkness.

Let's just hope the cold and rain happen to occur at the same time so that we can enjoy some snowfall!
