The family behind Hall’s Honey-Fried Chicken has been in the business of fried chicken for over 70 years, and the tradition is still going strong at their newest eatery in Dallas.
In 1948, the Hall family started a fried chicken empire that's still going strong to this day. Hall’s Honey-Fried Chicken, a Dallas institution since 1992, is back open for business after suffering a tragic floor collapse six years ago.
Once inside, you'll notice the unassuming nature of the restaurant. No-frills eateries often have the best food, however, so we take the simplicity as a good sign.
You can either get dark meat, breasts, wings, or a mixture. Chicken tenders are also available, and other menu items include liver, gizzards, and hot links.
Just walk up to the counter, place your order, and grab a seat wherever you'd like. Whether it's conversations with friendly locals or the pure bliss of chowing down on a delicious meal, everything about dining at Hall's is bucket list-worthy.
Each order comes with fries, pickles, peppers, and bread. The sides are just a bonus -- with chicken so tender and juicy, yet fried-to-perfection on the outside, nothing else matters once you take a bite (although we'd never pass up a good French fry).
If you prefer a little sweet with your savory, chicken & waffles is served all day long. Since the batter is infused with honey, it makes for an even more scrumptious feast.
