What do you think of when you think about fall? Corn mazes? Pumpkin spice? Apple cider? All of those things are nice, but autumn means only one thing here in Texas: Oktoberfest. There are several throughout the state, but the most well known celebration takes place in Fredericksburg in early October. It may not be traditional, but there’s no other way we’d rather ring in the season.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Have you ever been to Oktoberfest? What’s your favorite thing about it – the drinking, eating, or dancing?
Here are some other awesome activities you can do this fall in Texas.
