Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park is a luxury campground with multiple locations throughout the state. Unlike most campsites, you don’t necessarily even have to leave the property to get the most out of your vacation. It has attractions like mini golf, water rides, game rooms, cozy cabins, and of course meeting the namesake of the park himself. So whether your entire trip is centered around Jellystone or you just need an awesome place to stay while checking out other attractions in the area, this is the park for you.
There are seven locations throughout the state: Canyon Lake, Waller, Burleson, Fredericksburg, Tyler, Wichita Falls, and the Guadalupe River.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a large sign listing all the amenities located within the park as well as some popular nearby attractions. A handy tool for those unfamiliar with the area!
As far as the cabins, they're extremely luxurious and roomy. You'll have a full kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, several full bathrooms and bedrooms, and a living area.
If you're more of the 'roughin' it' type or just want to save some cash, most of the locations also have primitive campsites for much lower rates than the cabins.
Many of the locations also have water attractions such as slides, a lazy river, and a splash-pad complete with a picnic basket high up in the air that dumps gallons upon gallons of water on the unfortunate souls standing beneath it.
And the best part? Meeting Yogi Bear and his whole crew! They wander around the property throughout the day to make sure all the little ones (and the young at heart) get a chance to say hi.
