We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. Each year, Dewberry Farm transforms into a magical winter wonderland. Lights, trees, festive snacks and drinks, plus all the usual attractions promise to put the whole family in the holiday spirit.
Just a short wagon ride away lies 40 sprawling acres of full, vibrant Christmas trees. Scour the aisles for a perfect fit, cut it down (don't worry - the saw is provided), and head back to Santa's Workshop for baling. There's no admission charge if you're just tree shopping!
Hop on the Dewberry Express and enter an enchanting trail of lights that seems to go on forever. You'll traverse through millions of lights and themed displays, all set to festive tunes.
Five different scenes take passengers on a journey through giant lollipops, hardworking elves, sugar plum fairies, gingerbread men, and the North Pole. All your favorite holiday characters have come to life, because miracles are entirely possible at Christmastime.
Young or old, everyone can appreciate a visit with the face of the holiday himself. Eat breakfast alongside Jolly Old Saint Nick on December 21 and let him know exactly what you want this year. The meal consists of pancakes, sausage, a fruit cup, and assorted beverages. Photos with Santa are offered daily and make the perfect family Christmas card.
Before leaving, make sure to check out the country store and pick up some mementos. Country chic decorations, ornaments galore, and good old fashioned kitschy souvenirs make any holiday home even cozier.
Tickets are $24.95 for ages three and up, with a $2 discount extended to seniors 55+. The festival runs through December 29 and is open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily.
