This Chilling Texas Tour Takes You Back To When America’s First Serial Killer Was Terrorizing The Streets Of Austin
Few people know this, but America’s first-known serial killer terrorized the streets of none other than Texas’ Capital City during the late-1800s. One of the creepiest walking tours in Texas, the Austin Murder Walk lets you trace the footsteps of the “Midnight Assassin” and try to solve the century-old “whodunnit” case.
The tour departs from the intersection of Bowie and W. 6th Streets, near Whole Foods.
Have you ever taken the Austin Murder Walk? If so, we’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments! Don’t forget to check out our previous article for a slightly less spooky guided tour in Austin that takes you on a boat ride beneath millions of bats as they swarm the evening sky.
Address: Bowie Street & West 6th Street, Bowie St & W 6th St, Austin, TX 78703, USA
