Everyone In Texas Is Getting Ready For The Biggest Festival Of The Year…Here’s What To Expect
Yes, everyone…even Big Tex! He’s standing as tall and proud as ever at his post in Dallas’ Fair Park, anxiously awaiting the arrival of September 29 – the first day of the Texas State Fair. This iconic festival is the best example of “everything’s bigger in Texas” that we could possibly think of. The mascot, the sheer acreage, the food, and the fun are all amplified tenfold relative to other fairs.
This year will arguably be the best year yet – I think we can all agree that we mostly go for the food, and over 50 new items that you’ve never seen before will be available. Fried Texas Sheet Cake, a Funnel Cake Bacon Queso Burger, and Fajita Fries are just a few of the offerings. Is your mouth watering yet?
So if you want to kick off your fall season the right way with rides, games, live music, a car show, livestock auctions, and delicious snacks, you absolutely can’t miss the Texas State Fair this year.
And just in case we weren’t able to entice you enough with words alone, here’s a video of all the fun you’ll be missing if you don’t go:
The fair runs from September 29 through October 22. More information about ticket prices, times, and all the activities can be found here. Have you ever been to the Texas State Fair? What’s your favorite thing to do there?
