At Christmastime, This Texas Town Has The Most Enchanting Main Street In The Country
Here in Texas, we go all-out for Christmas. Big cities and small towns alike come alive this time of year with parades, lights, towering trees, and overflowing holiday spirit. Our entire state is a sight to see all season long, but this one city just might have the most magical Main Street in America.
With the self-proclaimed "Most Beautiful Town Square In Texas," it's safe to say this Hill Country city leaves no hall un-decked at Christmastime.
Over 20 different events take place throughout the holiday season, most centered around Main Street in all its dazzling glory.
Brilliantly lit trees illuminate the street for nighttime strolls, and every building sparkles from floor to ceiling.
Do some window shopping or pop into a few boutiques to pick up those last few items on your Christmas list.
Although we just missed the annual Christmas Stroll, there's plenty more fun to be had this month.
A Reindeer Run, Holiday Market, and Breakfast with Santa are just a few of the many activities for kids from one to ninety-two!
You definitely won't want to miss An Affair on the Square, which is coming up on Thursday, December 15.
From 5:30-8:30 p.m., this annual holiday shopping event features merchants selling unique gifts you won't find anywhere else. This year's theme is "Deep in the Heart of Texas," so come dressed in your finest Western wear!
Something about the magic of Christmastime just brings people together.
