The BBQ Festival In Texas That Will Send Your Taste Buds Straight To Heaven
If there’s one food we Texans love more than anything else, it’s barbecue. Our love runs so deep, in fact, that we’re willing to travel to all corners of the state in search of the best, most tender and flavorful meat. Luckily, all that driving won’t be necessary next month because the restaurants are coming to us! Texas Monthly is hosting its 8th annual BBQ Fest in Austin on Sunday, November 5, and it’s something y’all don’t want to miss.
There'll be 30+ joints there, all chosen from Texas Monthly's Top 50 BBQ Joints in Texas list. Think places like Franklin, Louie Mueller, Cooper's, etc.
All your favorite classics will be there as well, like pulled pork, sausage, and brisket from Franklin Barbecue. Mmm, I can practically taste the tender, juicy meat right now.
There will also be cocktail and cold beer samples that you can enjoy while listening to live music by The Peterson Brothers Band, Bruce Robison, Willis Alan Ramsey, and Carrie Rodriguez.
Dessert hasn't been forgotten, either - these Crown Royal cupcakes are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of sweets. Food, drinks, and treats...this festival has all the bases covered!
The festival will be located at 701 W. Riverside Drive at the corner of S. 1st Street, Austin, Texas, on November 5th from 1 to 4 pm. Just remember: wear stretchy pants that aren’t white – things are guaranteed to get messy.
