There’s Something Incredibly Rare Happening In This Texas Cave…And You’ll Want To See It
If you thought the Natural Bridge Caverns were beautiful already, just look at them now…
This rare sight is the Glen Rose Aquifer, only visible after periods of significant rainfall. The best part? You can see it firsthand! The Discovery Tour takes you right down near the aquifer so you can admire its beauty for yourself. But you’d better act fast, because nobody knows how long it’s going to be here.

Normally, the water table isn't high enough to make the aquifer visible. However, due to the recent heavy rains we've had, it has "recharged," and the beautiful water can now be seen.

The tour is approximately 75 minutes long and takes you over 180 feet into the depths of the earth. The tour is only 3/4 of a mile at a comfortable 70 degrees, but it does include stairs and slippery surfaces, so dress accordingly.

All in all, it's an unforgettable experience that you absolutely need to take advantage of. After all, we don't know how long the aquifer is going to be visible.
So, what do you think? I think it looks something like the Emerald City from Wizard of Oz. Are you as excited to visit it as I am?
