Ah, fall. Picking pumpkins, sipping coffee, and perusing quaint small towns decked out in scarecrows and hay bales. When I think about this time of year, there’s no place in Texas that comes to mind as strongly as Fredericksburg. It’s basically the epitome of charming, so that combined with the plethora of activities going on there this month, there’s no town I’d rather spend my October in.
Fredericksburg is the ideal town to spend a fall day in.
...and tour some vineyards with Texas Wine Tours, ending the evening with a rustic dinner overlooking the endless rows of grapes while watching an unforgettable Texas sunset.
Or if you wait until the 22nd, you can attend the famous Food and Wine Fest, where you'll sample endless unique wines and foods that will send your taste buds straight to heaven. There will also be live music.
