This Hike In Austin Will Give You An Unforgettable Experience
There are so many places to hike in and around Austin that deciding where to start can be nothing short of overwhelming. No worries – we’re here to point you in the right direction. I highly recommend Barton Creek Greenbelt. This little gem off Loop 360 can be difficult to find, but once you do, you’ll feel like you discovered the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Here’s why:

When you first begin the trail, it doesn't seem like anything special - just a lot of rocks, uneven ground split by tree roots, and scraggly brush without even leaves to make the view more pleasant.

But as you head down the path a little further, you'll think you've struck gold when you start to hear the trickle of water.

You might think it was just your imagination, or at the most, a tiny little patch of runoff that won't amount to anything impressive.

Boy, would you be wrong. That seemingly endless, nothing-to-write-home-about hike will all be worth it when you catch a glimpse of the beautiful Sculpture Falls a few miles in.

This is the perfect spot to take a break from the scorching heat and immerse yourself in some cool water. These kids sure look like they're having fun!

All in all, the hike itself might not be the most remarkable, but the destination makes up for it tenfold.
