The Texas Highway Department found a huge surprise in Spring of 1963. During what seemed to be an ordinary day of gathering ground samples, they discovered something incredible. Beneath the rock was a huge cavern full of miraculous fossils, wildlife, and scenery. The Inner Space Cavern opened to the public in 1966 and has been dazzling visitors ever since. Get ready for your jaw to drop, because the views in this cave will blow you away.
