Guests here claim to have felt spirits brush up against them, and ghost sightings of a little girl holding flowers in one of the hotel common areas...Spend the night, see for yourself!

Stories say this location has a ghost named Jack. Jack committed suicide by jumping off the balcony and has been said to be heard in his room by other guests and hotel staff.

This place is said to be haunted by Sam Houston and also the nephew of Pendleton Murrah's nephew. He shot himself after the girl he proposed to refused to marry him.

The Inn is said to be haunted by a woman and her child that can sometimes be seen walking around. People have also reported hearing music playing even when the electricity was turned completely off.

This spot has been reported by an individual that it has a dark energy upon entering the home...almost as if the entity does not want you in there.

The University has several haunting stories: Mary Moody Theater is haunted by a student who hanged himself. At Premont Hall, a student who had slipped in a shower and died (body not found for a week) is said to make himself heard by slamming windows and turning on faucets. The Capitol is said to be haunted by Governor Edmund Jackson Davis who will stare at passers by from a first floor window until guests walk away.
