Lady Bird Lake‘s glistening water is the focal point of the city. As you drive through downtown Austin, these stunning views will catch your attention. More than 10 miles of hiking and biking trails surround this gorgeous landmark, but one part of it stands out above the rest. The Ann and Roy Butler Boardwalk Trail is the most unique hike around.

The Ann and Roy Butler Boardwalk Trail is located in the heart of the city. To access it, you can park at the Austin American Statesman building at 305 South Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704 and walk east on the trail. The boardwalk is open every day from 5 a.m. to midnight.
