After 2 million dollars worth of renovations, Balmorhea's beautiful pool is open to the public once again. This splendid getaway was built in the 1930s and continues to dazzle visitors today.

When they say it's the largest spring-fed pool in the world, they're not exaggerating. Balmorhea State Park's pool spans 1.3 acres and holds 3.5 million gallons of water.

It's a lot warmer than Barton Springs, too. Balmorhea State Park's pool stays between 72 - 76 degrees year-round. Go ahead and cannonball into the water! The springs are calling your name.

Balmorhea State Park is located at 9207 State Highway 17 in Balmorhea, Texas. The pool is open daily from 8 am to 7:30 pm. Entrance fees are $7 for adults. Children under twelve can enter for free.
