This Spooky Train Ride Will Show You A Side Of The Austin Zoo You’ve Never Seen before
Every October, The Austin Zoo transforms into a Halloween wonderland full of lights, spectacle, and costumed fun. Ride through the grounds on a creepy train and step through a haunted house. Be careful though! Swarms of pirates might lunge after you looking for their treasure. Get ready for Boo at the Zoo. This spooky train ride will show you a side of the Austin Zoo that you’ve never seen before.

Young ones are always eager to ride the zoo train. On select nights in October, however, this excursion gets a makeover. Colorful ghosts fill the sky and whimsical Jack-'o-lanterns are around every corner. The trees glisten with orange and black lights, and the excitement is tangible.
This isn't your ordinary zoo.
In October, The Austin Zoo is hardly recognizable. Suddenly, you'll see ghoulish pirate ships and spooky companions. Come in costume! Creative characters really add to the fun.
