You're going to have to watch for crowds - after all, Fall Creek Falls is the most visited state park in Tennessee - but the opportunity to splash about in their fantastic swimming hole options will take the place to an entirely new level.

This state owned natural area is extremely popular amongst families. The 75-foot waterfalls is great for pictures, picnics on the shore and splashing around in its great swimming hole.

One of the most popular spots to catch a swimming hole in the state, Cummins Falls is nevertheless a stunning representation of Tennessee's varied natural beauty.

The sweet thing about Rutledge Falls is that it's privately owned, but the owners have created a bit of a parking lot for visitors. Make sure to clean up and respect their land while having ALL the fun, folks!

This is one of the only spots that offers a sandy, semi-beach in the middle of the continental US. The deep swimming holes in the area make this perfect for those of us over the age of 18. (Sheepishly raises hand...)
