The Incredible Moment When Tennessee Will Go Dark That Will Go Down In History

There’s an exciting phenomenon on the horizon – so to speak – and you’ll want to mark your calendar. For the first time in exactly 99 years, a total solar eclipse will pass through the United States and portions of the country will experience total darkness in the middle of the day. It just so happens that Tennessee is right in the middle of the eclipse’s trajectory. Here’s more on this incredible event and where you can see it the clearest.

The total solar eclipse will enter the state at exactly 1:25 P.M. CDT and exit at 2:36 EDT (factoring in the time zone change).

Though it may be brief, this is a phenomenal event that will truly be a moment in history. In fact, some have even gone so far as to book hotels in areas that will have the clearest visibility.
