Tennessee is a beautiful place with a culture all its own – which means there are quite a few things that folks who aren’t from the Volunteer State still have to understand. Whether you’ve just moved here or are simply visiting, we’ve got a couple of neat things that’ll make you a whole lot smarter as you traverse the south.

Nashville is well known as being infused with educational options. They are home to renowned Vanderbilt University, as well as Belmont, Lipscomb, and many more Tennessee colleges.

We have some of the prettiest lakes and rivers this side of the Mississippi.

As in, we really have zero idea how to live with it.

And it's the best weekend of the summer.

Even if there are no words that rhyme or folks that feel wildly attractive in it.

There's really no question, our Tennessee theme park was started by a legend. Beat that, Indiana.

It's a contraction, and that's TOTALLY fine.

Actually, Broadway. It's neat for a bachelor party or a girls night out, but you should probably just leave Broadway to the tourists.
