The Time Warp Tea Room, however, seeks to upend stereotypes, and this motorcycle-themed coffee house and tea room operates as a live music venue and community gathering place. The Time Warp Tea Room is located in the Old City of Knoxville, Tennessee. The downtown coffee shop has made a name for itself in the North Central Street "happy hour" community and is considered a local hidden gem.
Inside this homey coffee shop, you'll find all sorts of vintage charm. The staff is known for being kind and helpful, and with a full range of coffee, espresso, and ice-based drinks the Time Warp Tea Room is great no matter what time of year it is.

In the front of the house, you'll find real, vintage motorcycles on display (they're beauties!), and in the back room you can play a game of pool, or perhaps try your hand at one of the vintage arcade video games and rides. There's even an old vintage jukebox that plays 45 records.

Every Tuesday, the shop even hosts a "Vintage Motorcycle" night for local enthusiasts. The Time Warp Tea Room Motorcycle Club hosts their monthly meetings in the space as well.
The tearoom opened in 2002 and has been a community fixture ever since. Order a cup of coffee to go with a freshly baked morning pastry, or maybe indulge in a cup of chai with an afternoon cookie on the side. Lunchtime options include house specials and sandwiches.
