Enjoy A Safe, Social Distancing Night Out At Tennessee’s Stardust Drive-In Theater
The Stardust Drive-In Theater is a Tennessee classic. It’s the kind of place you go in the summertime when the heat of the day leaves you tired and there’s nothing better than a bag of popcorn and a movie from the comfort of your own car. Nowadays, in the age of social distancing, the Stardust Drive-In Theater has made a few changes that allow it to operate even under current conditions. Learn all about it below, and maybe pitch up for your own experience. There’s nothing better than an evening spent with the ones you love, especially in the midst of the Tennessee countryside.

The Stardust Drive-In Theater opened back up at 50 percent capacity on May 1st, the day that Tennessee's stay-home order expired.

There are two screens, and each will limit the number of vehicles able to park for the show. Screen one will be limited to properly distanced vehicles up to 115, and screen two will allow 75 vehicles on-site.

The Stardust Drive-In Theater opened in 2003 and remains one of the most popular, family-friendly experiences in middle Tennessee. Visitors have the chance to experience all the nostalgic fun of the past with the movie releases of the present.

When you visit, make sure to support the locally-owned drive-in with the purchase of a concession. Keep in mind that only one person from your party may approach the concession stand at a time, in order to maintain appropriate levels of social distancing.

Looking to bring your own food? The Stardust Drive-In Theater has always offered a "Food Permit" that allows patrons to bring their own food and drink onto the property. Of course, we highly recommend purchasing some form of concession from the stand, in order to support this wonderful Tennessee business.

This right here, folks, is an open door to something new and incredible. Escape the doldrums of daily life with a bit of entertainment!

Will you be joining in the (safe!) fun this weekend? There's no better way to marry entertainment and the fresh air of the Tennessee countryside than a visit to the drive-in.
You can find out more information by way of the theater’s official website, right here.
