The Sky Walk In Tennessee That Will Make Your Stomach Drop
Hidden in the mountains and valleys of the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains is a quiet little peak called Foxfire Mountain. It’s been owned by the same family for years and years, but the canopy walks, zip lines, and suspension bridges have all been built in the last ten years. In fact, one of the bridges is the longest swinging bridge in America. For those of you who are the adrenaline junkie types, just know that this sky walk is absolutely the thrill you’re looking for. For those of you that are afraid of heights, just don’t look down.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. Hiding in the mountains of East Tennessee is the longest swinging bridge in the United States!

The bridge is one of many at Foxfire Mountain. It's longer than a football field and swings more than 70 feet above the Little Pigeon River below.

The adventure park at Foxfire Mountain features multiple trails with bridges and canopy walks for all ages and fear tolerances.

The longest bridge, called "The Bridge to Prosperity" is completely safe but is incredibly nerve-wracking. We don't recommend doing it when it's covered in snow though.

If you want the views with less vertigo, there are much sturdier canopy walk options.

Or if you want more thrilling views, they also have a zipline course!

Foxfire Mountain Adventures is open year-round, and you can book your tickets to any of their adventures in advance at their website. Visit today in Sevierville at 3757 Thomas Lane.
If you’re afraid of heights, don’t worry. Here’s the best state park in Tennessee, and it’s very much on solid ground.
