The Secluded Restaurant In Tennessee That Looks Straight Out Of A Storybook
Every once in awhile it’s sweet to get away from the rush and wonder of the city and find yourself in a small town, far away from the bustle and the noise, eons from honking car horns and screeching tires. In Sparta, Tennessee, one of the best places to lay low and fall in love with your newfound quiet freedom is at Miss Marenda’s Tea Room. This gorgeous space is truly a complete step away from the craziness of the day to day, and you’ll never want to leave.
Shall we explore together?

Miss Marenda's Tea Room and Antiques has been around for (almost) 20 years now, having been founded by two great friends in 1998. Together, they built a space that feels like a solid step back in time.

Quaint, small and unique, the tiny eatery is big on decor and design. Distinctive in plan and scope, you can indulge in a ladies' day out or their private dining room for more intimate events.

The eatery is open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday, from 11am to 2pm unless otherwise noted for special events. You can indulge in soups, salads, delectable sandwiches and gorgeous desserts.

"Mom's Homemade Bread" is always a winner, popular with almost their entire audience. Previous patrons have lauded the space as a great venue for showers and family gatherings, a perfect place to have lunch and indulge in a bit of family time.

After you're done eating? Head next door to their antique store, where you can wander two floors of antique goods and vintage wares. Marenda's has been featured on AntiqueTrail.Com, making it easy to find if you're on the hunt.

You can visit for yourself 5 E Maple Street in Sparta, Tennessee. Enjoy your time away from the craziness and step into a storybook. This is your fairy tale, your sweet time, your day away. We'll see you there!
