Take This Tennessee Tube Ride For An Epic Winter Adventure
Spending a winter in the south means that you won’t be crossing your fingers for snow, unfortunately. If we’re lucky we may get a sheen of ice and frost the day of Christmas, maybe a chilly wind that blows through on Thanksgiving. Snow just isn’t in the cards for Tennesseans, folks, unless you head on over to Ober Gatlinburg. The snow and ski resort is a man-made trip to the Rockies, and we fall more and more in love with it every year.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
While you’re experiencing the beauty of our great state, then you just might want to check out this darling farming museum. It covers such a fascinating and largely overlooked facet of Tennessee history.
