The North Pole Train Ride In Tennessee That Will Take You On An Unforgettable Adventure
Christmas is one of the most magical times of year in Tennessee, but there’s something particularly special about seeing the beautiful Tennessee countryside from a holiday train that really takes the magic to an entirely different level. Christmas treats, holiday decor, and a visit from a certain jolly ol’ someone will make this one of the most entertaining and enjoyable experiences for the entire family. Tickets for 2018 are sold out, but it’s never too early to start preparing for next Christmas!

The Three Rivers Rambler is a local, old-fashioned train that runs out of Knoxville, and they have the most incredible Christmas train ride.

Santa himself engineers the train and takes guests on a nearly two-hour round trip from downtown Knoxville.

The whole train is decked out in Christmas decor, and guests are given holiday treats to enjoy on the ride.

There's also plenty of fun activities for kiddos on the train, including coloring and a special visit from Santa himself!

The train ride is absolutely stunning in the winter -- the trip goes out and back from downtown Knoxville to the start of the Tennessee River.

The Christmas Lantern Express is $16 for kiddos and $28.50 for adults (2018 prices). You can find more information and, closer to next year's event, buy tickets on their website. Tickets tend to sell out early, so get a jump on booking your tickets next year.

The Christmas Lantern Express runs from Thanksgiving to Christmas each year.
If trains aren’t your thing, check out this fantastical Christmas town that gets more and more magical every year.
