The Most Unique Spring Tradition Takes Place Right Here In Nashville Each Year

Nashville is one of the most unique cities in the world. We’re known for our southern hospitality as well as our contributions to the world of music, art, and pop culture. But not many people know that one of Nashville’s most unique spring traditions doesn’t have to do with any of these things. The Iroquois Steeplechase is a horse race that the whole family can enjoy, but it’s so much more than that. It’s a great chance to get out, eat some great food, watch the horses, and of course, wear the most ridiculous hat you can possibly find.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:
