The Nashville restaurant scene has exploded in recent years, and unfortunately so have the prices. Sure, there are times we want to shell out for a gorgeous seafood dinner or an upscale anniversary celebration – but normally? We want something yummy for a handful of dollars that will keep us full until dinnertime. We stumbled across Tasty and Delicious, a quirky moniker for a fabulous eatery in south Nashville, and haven’t been hungry since!
Tasty and Delicious opened their doors not far from the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere, and the folks of south Nashville haven't stopped raving since. We're thoroughly in love with its colloquial name and cheap prices - you can eat a full meal for under $8!
The humble and locally owned restaurant is known for its delicious burgers and salty fries on the side. The half-pound tasty and stuffed burger is a favorite, served with fresh tomatoes and lettuce and finished with ooey-gooey cheese slices.

Most burgers are served with "secret sauce", a la In-N-Out on the west coast, and it brings the whole sandwich together. You can choose to have it served on the side if you'd rather try it out before going all in, but you're not going to regret it!
