11 Things Nashvillians Take For Granted… But Shouldn’t
The best Nashville attractions tend to be the most low-key. Still, that doesn’t mean they should be taken for granted. We pulled together eleven things that all Nashvillians should love and adore, a few things to appreciate on the daily as opposed to taking for granted in every day life. Take a look, find your favorite spot, and fall in love with your city all over again. We have.
11. The pedestrian bridge is the best date spot in Tennessee - really.
If you top it off with an ice cream cone at Mike's or a stint of bar hopping on Lower Broad, this becomes a thoroughly Nashville experience REAL quick.
10. Or Love Circle.
The most romantic spot in the city, if you ask us.
9. We have the best coffee on the PLANET.
But really. Barista Parlor was recently listed as one of the best places for coffee in the world, and we're pretty proud it's ours.
8. And we started the whole hot chicken thing.
It seems like everyone has their spot in the city, but we can't get over how much we love this spicy take on a southern classic.
7. We have parks and outdoor spaces galore.
Since Nashville is located in the American south, we have fairly temperate weather with a wealth of seasonal changes. It makes for a whole lot of beauty year-round.
6. We have all sorts of local and ethnic eateries.
Nashville has really grown by leaps and bounds in the last couple of years, with hundreds of new restaurants opening and older eateries thoroughly cementing themselves in local culture.
5. Our pizza is also pretty killer.
From DeSano's to Slim & Husky's, Nashville knows how to slice up a pizza pie.
4. Nashville's music scene is second to none.
You really can't take this one for granted - there's no other place in the world as music-centric. This is the place.
3. There's really nothing better than a Preds game in Music City.
The atmosphere is amazing and vibrant and exciting - what an amazing pride that pulses through the city.
2. The Loveless Cafe biscuits get their own point. They're that good.
And not one person is going to argue with us. Once you've had them, you'll never have enough.
1. That gorgeous skyline.
Our ever-growing city represents a local economic infusion of jobs and ever-booming industries. It's a neat place to be!
epic snow tubing experience shouldn’t be taken for granted, either.
