This Rustic Steakhouse In Nashville Is A Carnivore’s Dream Come True
Health nuts are going crazy this time of year, pushing gym memberships and fresh fruits and veggies hard in the heart of winter. Here’s the thing, though – there’s nothing that sounds more terrible than a cold salad in the middle of January. What even is that?! We decided to stop off at the historic Sperry’s Restaurant in Nashville for a hearty meal that will keep us full and warm ’til Tuesday. Take our word for it, friends. This is a spot you don’t want to miss.

Sperry's has been serving the Nashville area for over 40 years now. It was originally opened by Houston and Dick Thomas, brothers who wanted to bring incredible food to Belle Meade.

Sperry's holds a unique bit of Nashville history - they are the home of the first ever salad bar in Nashville!

The Sperry's in Belle Meade was so successful that they opened a second location in Cool Springs in 2006. The second location has more seating, but it still serves up the same favorite menu items.

Sperry's only serves the best - their marbled Western beef and fresh seafood are the bases for their dishes, and they are absolutely incredible.

Just look at this Filet Oskar, topped with king crab meat and bernaise. We wouldn't mind eating this on a consistent basis.

Like any true steakhouse, Sperry's is outfitted with decor that evokes a sense of distinction while staying homey. You couldn't ask for a better spot to eat their perfect steaks!

Sperry's is open for dinner every night starting at 5 p.m. Make sure to make reservations, which you can do at their website. Visit them at 5109 Harding Pike in Belle Meade or 650 Frazier Drive in Cool Springs.
