There’s something fun about visiting a local hot spot. Nashville is rife with tourists on a daily basis, but what about those that live here? Whether you take it from a local or a transplant, this is one neat city to explore with your tastebuds. You’ll understand when you get here.


It's Two 4 Tuesday everywhere, where beer and pizza slices clock in at only $2. It's a college friendly spot that offers a solid pie - and a dress code. You won't be entering in workout clothes!


Located in the 12 South Neighborhood, 5 Daughters Bakery is the answer to NYC's cronut - delectable and finger lickin' good, a local business that deserves its solid local following.


We'd argue this is the best coffee in Nashville. It may not be nationally ranked like the Barista Parlor chain, but Crema is rife with dedicated baristas and a solid drip.

Husk is located in a historic building just south of downtown. A farm-to-table date night spot, this is the kind of place you visit to propose.


Some know Arnold's as the best meat-and-three in town. The old school cafeteria style spot is extremely popular amongst Nashvillians of all ages.

More of a social club than anything, there's a patio, pool, bowling alley, bar, working restaurant and co-working area. Just in case you can't decide WHAT you're doing tomorrow.


At $3 a taco, you're probably not too surprised that Nashville hipsters are fans. The once food truck has blossomed into a brick and mortar shop that serves up fried avocado tacos like a boss.


An upscale speakeasy-esque spot, Holland House is a beautiful bar that's a great date night spot. It serves small plates and killer drinks.


Delicious and tucked away in East Nashville, Sweet 16th may not be on Main Street, but it's most definitely a spot that locals frequent. Plus, that eggy biscuit is SO good.


The local ice creamery is great for little ones, as the atmosphere is fun and low-key.


The famous pizzeria in east Nashville has been a go-to for those in the Five Points area for years. It's quick, fun, and a good slice o' pie.
