Nashville is a pretty popular place. If you’ve ever tried to go the Pharmacy on a Saturday night, you’ve seen firsthand just exactly what they mean when they say that Nashville is growing like crazy. Sure, we like the Farm Burgers as much as the next person, but sometimes, you just need to get away from it all. Luckily, there’s a park just outside of the busy parts of town that offers some of the most beautiful and serene hiking in the state. Let us take you on a tour of this hidden gem….
Beaman Park is located near Joelton in the Northwest corner of Davidson County. It's the perfect distance for when you don't have a ton of time but still want to feel like you're getting away from it all.
The park offers three different hiking trails. The trails are a combined five miles in length and are accessible at different points throughout the park. You can get a map at the trailhead, or you can download it ahead of time here.

Beaman Park is also great for pets! Pets of all kinds are allowed on the trails, but you have to remember to bring your leash, provided it's six-foot or less.

Beaman Park's most popular trail is the Creekside Trail, which is appropriately named because it runs by a creek. It's the perfect setting for a quiet trail walk.
The park is open year round, which is great because the park is absolutely beautiful at all times of year. Whether it's the yellows of budding trees in spring, the green of summer, the orange of fall, or the silver of winter, every season offers something beautiful and new.
