This Remote Restaurant Near Nashville Will Make You Feel A Million Miles Away From Everything
We’re forever a fan of Marcy Jo’s, located near Columbia, Tennessee. For their biscuits and gravy and sweet rolls and Elvis cake. For their kind smiles and uncanny ability to remember a name, the type of people that really care about your heart and love on you through your stomach. Marcy Jo’s is a gem – one that you won’t want to miss.

The sweet restaurant is technically located in Pottsville, a small community that lies between Columbia and Chapel Hill. The space they use is a refurbished mercantile, one that dates way beyond you or I were even a twinkle of a thought.

Folks rave about the family atmosphere and home cooked treats - some even say they rival their grandmothers! That's high praise out here in Tennessee, you know.

With baked goods made fresh every morning and family recipes scattered across the menu, you won't feel like Nashville is just a solid drive out of a town.

Um, local secret? Get a cinnamon roll. They're positively from heaven.

Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, you name it! They got it. We have to say - Loveless Cafe has nothing on the sweet Marcy Jo's of Pottsville.

It's a tiny spot but it's positively bursting with character. If you have to wait a minute, you can relax on their front stoop.

The spot has limited hours, so you'll want to make sure to plan a day of it. You can catch them on Thursday from 7-2, Friday from 7-2 as well as 5-8 and Saturday from 7-2pm.
Finding the best breakfast in Tennessee isn’t hard, anymore – we just told you the secret. Have you been to this remote restaurant near Nashville?
